The study is coordinated by the University Hospital Cologne and funded by the German Center for Infectious Disease Research (DZIF).
The recruitment for this study is currently ongoing. - Telementor: A multicentric prospective interventional study with a focus on chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). The goal of this study is to examine the influence of telemonitoring and early intervention on the exacerbation- and hospital admission rates of patients with COPD. The study is coordinated by the LungClinic Großhansdorf and funded by the Federal Joint Committee (Gemeinsamer Bundesausschuss).

Further information is available under the following link: Telementor COPD - Cosyconet-2: A multicentric prospective observational cohort study on the long-term effects and co-morbidities of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). The patients are annually thoroughly examined over the course of 4 years. The aim of the study is to describe the currently available healthcare services and treatment options and to identify new prognostic factors for further reasearch. The study is coordinated by the University Clinic Marburg. The funding is provided by the Ministry of Education and Research and by the German Center for Lunge research (DZL).
